My name is Jacob Hattaway, President of Blackrock Construction. Born and raised in Shreveport, I’m a proud graduate of Evangel Christian Academy and Northwestern State University, where I earned my degree in Industrial Engineering & studied my masters at LSU.

My journey in construction began in my teenage years as a general laborer. Over time, I worked my way up—from field engineer to Director of Operations—before founding Blackrock Construction. I’m truly grateful for God’s blessings along the way, including my amazing wife and three wonderful sons.
